About
Studio Morale
What does “deeply human designs” mean, anyway?
To us, it means branding that feels. Branding that isn’t just beautiful—but meaningful. That tells your story with intention, clarity, and heart. Studio Morale is a design studio based in Amsterdam, serving small business owners and creatives who are ready to go all in on their vision. We blend strategy with story to build brands that spark connection and create lasting impact. Whether you’re launching something new or breathing life into something existing, we’re here to help shape a brand that’s thoughtful, authentic, and uniquely yours.
1. Discovery
After your application lands in my inbox, we'll schedule a call to chat through your business and your brand needs.
A Sneak Peek into My Client Process
2. Project Proposal
Using the information gathered on our introductory call, I will create a project proposal which will likely cover a couple of different options. This proposal will outline the project schedule, deliverables and quote for each option.
3. Signed & Sealed
After selecting the option you’d like to go with, I’ll send over our contract, questionnaire and deposit invoice for 50% of the agreed project fee. As soon as I receive the deposit and signed contract, our project is locked in for the agreed start date!
4. Delivery
After recieving sign off for each of our deliverables, I will share the final invoice for the remainder of our project fee. As soon as I receive payment, I’ll send over all of the assets in a super user-friendly folder system. All that’s left to do is implement everything we created together and take your industry by storm!

Research & Discovery
Armed with your brief and moodboard, I deeply analyze both documents in conjunction with thorough market (and often times audience) research to unearth vital insights which may influence the design direction we decide to go down.
Design Direction
Using my research, I will create at least two design directions that will effectively answer your brief. These will typically cover example logo designs, color palettes, typography, etc. in a clear cohesive style. I will present these to you and share the deck afterwards to support the feedback process.
Idea Development
After confirming which design direction you’d like to pursue, I begin by creating tens if not hundreds of initial logo ideas. The goal here is to generate as many ideas as possible to then go back through and refine any diamonds in the rough. Next, I will refine and develop a few sketches from my intial ideas stage. It’s at this point, I have decided on the best solution for your brief and I will build this direction out further - introducing colour, typography, patterns, etc.
4.
Design Presentation
Now the design work is complete, I will create a wholly comprehensive presentation detailing each of my design decisions and the reasons behind them. Towards the end of this presentation, I will show you industry specific mock ups so you can really imagine how this work will look in your world.
5.
Final or Feedback
After a couple of days have passed and you’re sure of your feedback, you will send this over to me on email. Depending on the level of amends (if there are any at all), I may present to you again addressing all of your points until we ultimately sign each deliverable off.
BEHIND THE DESIGNS
SOME FUN FACTS:
MEET NIKOLE, FOUNDER AND HEAD DESIGNER
AT STUDIO MORALE
Once upon a time, there was a little girl who loved to draw. She used to make up stories so she could illustrate her own “books”, draw all over her homework pages, and dedicate a corner of her bedroom to be her own little art studio. But as she grew up, she was scared that a degree and career in the arts would strip her of her passion for drawing, so she pivoted. Though she got a Bachelors in Literature and Cultural Analysis, her heart still wanted to

make things, so she put down her pencils and sketchbooks (temporarily), and opened up her laptop. She got a degree in Design and fully leaned into the “do what you love, love what you do” attitude.
Fast-forward half a decade, Nikole is the owner and designer at Studio Morale. Her creative approach is deeply rooted at the intersection of Design, Art, Passion, and Storytelling.
